As soon as I saw it, I knew this great room had to be mine! We bought the house sight unseen because this great room was humongous. I designed the leather dueling sectionals to provide the perfect balance and symmetry I craved for the large space. The four chair and loveseat combo in the first part of the great room just screamed book reading and entertaining guests. 

Not even the boring builder carpet was going to deter my enthusiasm - something I plan to address for new home buyers in my upcoming New Home Journey Series! In this great room, I used wood tones throughout with patterned chairs that offered a comfortably lux design. It has been a long labor of love but once completed, it actually hosted parties of 50-75 people without any issues. 

One of my favorite features in the great room are our leather dueling sectionals, they bring so much joy to my design heart! Not to mention, this look makes it easier when the kids are fighting - cue "get along shirt" - as they can be designated to each sectional!
